Over the years Hospital Radio Leighton has raised funds to continue broadcasting. These events started prior to the actual first broadcast in 1968 including the crowning of a Miss Hospital Broadcast 1968 " a title won by Mrs Judy Preece who joined the society and is still broadcasting on a Tuesday evening. The society's events today include Coffee mornings at Nantwich. We also have generous gifts from the local community including Webb Relief In Sickness Fund for which we are very grateful.
