On the 6th December 2007 Hospital Radio held their annual Carol service, which was recorded for broadcast over the Christmas period. The service took place at St Leonard's Church, Warmingham during the terrible rain storm on Thursday night. The music however brightened up the evening with a musical opening by the Winterley Brass band followed by traditional hymns
Once in Royal David's City, Silent Night, O Little Town of Bethlehem and O Come all ye Faithful being sung by the large congregation. The service was led by the Rev. David Page with Bible readings from Luke and Matthew read by Elizabeth Richardson, Lucy Furber, Peter Noden and Mary Varey.  The recording was made by Bob Squirrell and John Epps and will form part of the 24 hour broadcasting on Hospital radio. About 40 members of the congregation and sales of discs in the League of Friends shop in the Hospital will raise about £300 for the Macmillan fund.
